Mutambo Films was created by hunter and filmmaker Kolby Edwards. Since its establishment in 2019, Kolby has traveled across Africa documenting hunting safaris for both hunters and outfitters.

After graduating from film school with a degree in cinematography, Kolby ventured to Niassa province in northern Mozambique for his very first big game hunting safari.

“It's a safari that I will cherish for the rest of my life as it revealed to me what a hunt should be, a challenge and a victory worth something.”

Since then he has continued to develop his cinematic skill while venturing to the untamed corners of Africa documenting big game hunting and the vital conservation initiatives undertaken by hunters and outfitters.

“I think my favourite part of documenting a safari is when I’m able to capture and share the conservation efforts of hunters working to conserve millions of acres of wilderness across Africa. Hunters are on the frontlines of wildlife conservation daily and I think it’s a compelling truth and story that needs to be documented”
